Parking within the venue is controlled by the Cairns Show Society, entry is via Scott Street. There is a parking fee of $5.00 per vehicle, with all proceeds going to the Cairns Show Association.
A limited number of Persons with a Disability (PWD) car parking spaces are available close to each entry gate for holders of a valid government issued disability parking permit. These car parks will be issued to customers on a first come, first served basis each event day. Please ensure your disability parking permit is visible for the carpark attendant to see.
Is this event COVID Safe?
This event is running under a COVID Safe Event Plan approved by the Tropical Public Health Services (Cairns). All patrons will need to abide by the COVID Safe rules as set out to attend this event. All patrons will need to pre-purchase their tickets online and complete a short COVID Safe questionnaire. If you do not pass the questionnaire or do not wish to comply with the COVID Safe rules, then you will not be permitted within this event. It is illegal to supply false information.
Can I purchase tickets at the event?
No, due to COVID Safe practices, all tickets must be pre-purchased online.
Why are tickets only available online?
Tickets are only available online to reduce contact points and to record patron contact details in line with COVID tracing requirements. This is the new normal and a requirement under COVID Safe Event Plan.
Do carers to a Companion Card Holder have to pay?
A paid or unpaid assistant or carer assisting the holder of a current Companion Card are admitted FREE. You must provide a valid companion card at entry. All careers will need to complete the online ticketing questionnaire to receive the pass.
What discount cards do you accept?
This event offers discounted entry to people with a valid Seniors Card, Seniors Card +Go, Seniors Business Discount Card, Veteran Affairs Card, Pension Concession Card (Aged only) and Companion Card holders. Tickets are only valid when shown with the valid Card.
Can I get a multiple day ticket?
Yes, there are multiple day tickets available at a discounted cost. Adults $18, Seniors $15 and children 16 and under are free with an adult. Please note all patrons (including children) must register due to COVID-19 contact tracing requirements.
How do I get to the event?

Is there parking available at the event?

Are there ATM's at the event?
No. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, no ATMs will be available on site.
How do I get a copy of the Event Guide?
The Event Guide will be available at the event entrance. An online version of the event guide will be available on this website the week of the event.

Is there food available at the event?
Yes there are a number of different food stalls at the event.
Are pets allowed at the event?
No dogs or other animals are allowed within the event (excepting registered guide, hearing or assistance dogs). For details on conditions of entry, click here.
Can I smoke at the event?
No. Smoking (inlcuding e-cigarettes) inside the event precinct or within 10 metres of the event entrances is prohibited.
